tengah bosan menunggu papa balik petang tadi mama pun blogwalk.. terasa macam sedap aje congo bars ni.. jumpa kat blog bisousatoi dan refer kat sini <<-- mama follow recipe bakerella ni..
ya Allah, sedap weh!! senang lak tu.. kejap aje siap.. sementara tunggu sejuk keluar makan dengan syafika kejap kat kedai tendon.. balik2 wallah.. melantak biskut!!
tapi mama ada ubah juga recipe ni sikit.. mama pakai chocolate chips and raisins.. tekstur dia campur2 la.. cam biskut ada, cam kek pun ada.. luar rangup dalam kenyal.. apa lagi korang, cuba ok.. psstt: pasni tak main la oatmeal cookies.. hahahahaha

Congo Bars
2 3/4 cup all purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup butter, softened <<--- mama pakai 150gm
1 lb. light brown sugar (Oh my and thank you!) <<-- mama pakai 300gm
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
11.5 ounce package milk chocolate chips <<-- lebih kurang 1/2 cawan mama pakai
1 cup chopped pecans (optional) <<--- mama pakai 1/2 cawan kismis

1/2 teaspoon salt

mama tak pakai mixer, cuma pakai tangan.. sebab based on the recipe, depa cakap lagi cantik tekstur dia kalau pakai tangan..
By hand:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Set aside.
Stir brown sugar into softened (not melted) butter in another large bowl until butter disappears. You can use the back of your spoon to help incorporate the two together.
Add eggs one at a time to butter mixture and stir well after each egg.
Add vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts. Mix well.
Add dry flour mixture and stir until well combined.

Coat a 13 X 9 pan with non-stick spray and spread batter evenly into dish. <<-- pakai silicon mat aje mama..
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until top is golden brown. Make sure you don’t over bake. <<<---- lebih kurang 170degrees celcius
